Hi, there’s a version of it finished but I don’t want to show it to anyone just yet! There are scenes I want to re-animate and scenes that still need putting in. I’ll post on the blog when I have an edit that I’m happy to show to people :) Thanks for the interest. Where are you based?
The Girl at the Gate by Sir George Clausen
Here are some work-in-progress images that you might find interesting.
This is what I call a placeholder background. It mostly resembles the eventual scene, but hasn’t been lovingly artworked, lit and rendered yet. I like the shadow on the bed. It’s kinda eery without the protagonist there.
This is revealing of how I artwork the backgrounds: The sets are all made in 3D first, and then I can find the ideal angle to shoot from and build the scene from there. This is obviously at an early stage; I’ll have a more finished shot done tonight.
Part of the opening sequence of my animated documentary on EDS. I’m working 16 hours a day on it now. Follow me for updates and please spread the word if you know someone who’s interested in the condition.
Much love to everyone who has helped me make it <3
